Melbourne Federation Square Regional Wine Showcase

Psyche Wines first participation at the Federation Square showcase was a great success with over 700 people sampling the wines over the two days, the judging of the wines of the Region bought further success with the 2005 Psyche Reserve Shiraz Viognier awarded a Silver Medal and qualifying for the “Best of the Best” final in August.
Our 2005 Psyche Smuggler Shiraz and Petit Verdot were awarded Bronze Medals giving Psyche Wines the tally of 3 out of the 4 Table wines to win medals.

2006 Cowra Wine Show Success

The results of the 2006 Cowra Wine Show held from the 24th to 27th of July have seen Psyche Wines awarded Bronze medals for four of its wines.
The 2005 Psyche Smuggler Cab Merlot, Petit Verdot, Shiraz and Psyche Reserve Shiraz Viognier.

2006 Riverina Wine Show

Held from September 5th to 7th Psyche Wines success at this show saw Bronze Medals awarded to its Psyche Smuggler Shiraz and Psyche Reserve Chardonnay with Silver medals for the Psyche Smuggler Petit Verdot and Psyche Reserve Shiraz Viognier.

The 2006 Rutherglen Wine Show

The 118th Show occurred over a week beginning September 22nd 2006
Psyche Wines was successful with its 2005 Chateau Mildura River Boat Red, 2005 Psyche Smuggler Shiraz and 2005 Petit Verdot
all receiving Bronze Medals.

The Great Australian Red

This inaugural competition in celebration of the classic Australian Blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon saw Psyche Wines Chateau Mildura River Boat Red awarded a Bronze Medal alongside many of Australia’s icon wines.

2006 Riverland Wine Show

Results of the 34th Riverland Wine Show held from the 8th to 10th of October saw further success for Psyche Wine with its Psyche Smuggler Shiraz and Merlot awarded bronze medals, and the Psyche Smuggler Petit Verdot given Silver.

2006 Inland Wine Show

With its presentation held in Swan Hill on October 20th Psyche Wines again had a pleasing result with Bronze Medals for the 2005 Chateau Mildura River Boat Red, 2005 Psyche Smuggler Shiraz, 2005 Psyche Reserve Chardonnay and newly released 2006 Psyche Smuggler Riesling.
The 2005 Psyche Reserve Viognier as well as winning a Silver Medal received the award for the Best Grape growers Wine less than 5000 litres. |
